Warm Corner — Learning Program
AI tools are
reshaping
creative work right now
This program walks through how artificial intelligence fits into real creative workflows — from image generation and music composition to copywriting and video production. No prior technical background required, just curiosity and a willingness to experiment.
Eight weeks, three distinct phases
The program splits time deliberately across conceptual grounding, hands-on tool practice, and applied project work. Most participants find the middle phase the most demanding — that's intentional.
How generative models actually work
A grounded look at what large language models and diffusion systems do — without the hype. You'll understand what these tools can and can't do before touching any interface.
Prompting as a craft skill
Prompting isn't magic, it's structured communication. This module covers iteration strategies, constraint-setting, and how to get consistent results across different tools.
AI in visual and audio production
Practical sessions with image generators, voice synthesis tools, and music composition assistants. Focus is on integrating these into existing creative pipelines, not replacing them.
Editing and quality control
AI output requires editorial judgment. This module builds the habit of critical review — catching factual errors, visual artifacts, and tonal inconsistencies before they reach an audience.
Ethics, attribution, and copyright
A practical session on what Canadian copyright law currently says about AI-generated work, how to document your process, and how to handle attribution in collaborative projects.
Capstone project
Participants complete a self-directed creative project using at least three tools covered in the program. Feedback is given in a small group review session, not through automated scoring.

What the program doesn't promise
1. Completing this program won't make AI do your creative work for you. The goal is sharper judgment about when and how to use these tools — which takes practice beyond the 8 weeks.
2. The field moves fast. Some tools covered here will change significantly within a year. The program emphasizes transferable reasoning skills over memorizing any specific interface.
3. For deeper study on building effective habits around new tools, the study tips and recommendations page covers practical approaches that work alongside this program.
Before you enroll
A few things worth knowing about how the program runs and what kind of preparation makes a difference.
-
No software to install upfront
All tools used in the first four weeks run in a browser. You'll need a stable internet connection and a modern browser — nothing else at the start.
-
Some tools have paid tiers
Several platforms covered in weeks 5–7 offer free plans with usage limits. The curriculum is designed around free tiers, but paid access unlocks faster iteration during project work.
-
Group size stays small
Each cohort runs with a maximum of 18 participants. This keeps the live review sessions genuinely useful rather than a passive viewing experience.
-
Access continues after completion
All recorded sessions and written materials remain accessible for 12 months after your cohort ends. The field changes — revisiting earlier content later often surfaces things you missed the first time.
